You (Probably) Don’t Know What Carbon Capture Is
Is Carbon Capture All A Hoax?
Carbon capture is a SCAM.
Maybe not all of it…
To combat climate change, carbon capture has emerged as a powerful solution. The process involves capturing and storing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from industrial processes or power generation. Benefits include emission reduction, sustainable power transition support, and using captured CO2 in industrial processes, promoting a circular economy. There are two main methods: point-source capture and direct air capture.
Point-Source Capture:
Point-source capture targets emissions from large industrial sources like power plants and factories. It prevents CO2 from entering the atmosphere by storing it underground, significantly reducing emissions and mitigating climate change.
Direct Air Capture:
Direct air capture removes CO2 directly from the ambient air. This technology has the potential to achieve negative emissions by removing more CO2 than is released, actively reducing atmospheric CO2 levels.
Still confused? TBH, me too.
Good thing Hazel can explain it all.
Join us as we dive into the groundbreaking world of carbon capture, exploring innovative technologies and strategies to combat climate change. Discover how capturing and storing carbon emissions can play a vital role in creating a sustainable future for our planet (aka, unf*ck it). Episode 2 of UFTP is here!
